How are students selected for scholarships?

Urugo Care Rwanda is working in the villages of Akindege and Kabagendwa, Rwanda, with families in the lowest two (out of five) poverty levels as assigned by the local government. When there are openings for additional students to receive school scholarships, we contact the local government to request referrals for new families with students that would most benefit from this assistance. In this way, we are helping the families most in-need and working with the local government to meet their goals as well.
